During the First 24–48 Hours

Keep vehicles, furniture, rugs, planters, and other heavy items off the sealed area. Avoid unnecessary foot traffic, and keep children and pets away while the sealer cures.

Keep irrigation off and avoid washing the surface, pool splashing, or water features that wet the pavers.

Follow the return-to-use instructions we provide for your project. Timing can vary with weather, surface conditions, and the sealer used. If you are unsure whether the area is ready, contact us first.

Returning Furniture and Vehicles

Wait until we give you the appropriate return time. Lift furniture and planters into place rather than dragging them. Use protective feet beneath furniture to help prevent scratches.

Routine Cleaning

Sweep or blow away leaves and debris regularly. Once the surface has cured, clean spills promptly using a mild cleaner suitable for sealed pavers. Rinse thoroughly and avoid allowing cleaning products to dry on the surface.

Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive tools, and aggressive pressure washing. Ask us before using a stain remover or having the surface professionally cleaned.

Pool Deck Care

Keep pool chemicals off the sealed surface. Avoid splashing and keep water features that wet the deck turned off during curing.

If your project included stripping old sealer, have your pool service check sanitizer and phosphate levels. If the water becomes cloudy or green, contact your pool professional for testing and appropriate treatment.

Long-Term Maintenance

Keep drains clear and watch for standing water or loss of joint sand. Contact us if you notice loose pavers, significant sand loss, peeling, or unusual whitening.

Sealed surfaces still need routine care and periodic professional maintenance. We can assess your surface and recommend when it is ready for maintenance or resealing.
